4G users up 10-fold

CHINA Mobile said yesterday that its 4G users in Shanghai have grown 10-fold since 2014 to 10 million. The increase helped the company to boost its revenue from data traffic business, after two years’ commercial operation of its 4G network.
About 50 percent of Shanghai’s 25 million mobile users are on 4G, with China Mobile the dominant player with an 80 percent market share.
