Aliyun ties up to offer results to enterprises

ALIBABA’S cloud computing unit, Aliyun, said yesterday that it has teamed up with software services provider SAP and consulting firm Accenture to provide services and information technology solutions for the booming enterprise market.
Aliyun has also unveiled several industry solutions for companies in various sectors including Internet of Things and online video streaming.
The alliance aims to accelerate the adoption of enterprise-class cloud computing across multiple industries and help businesses speed up their digital transformation.
Aliyun’s technology expertise and Accenture’s management consulting capabilities make a good match, Vice President Yu Sicheng said in an interview during Aliyun’s computing conference.
The alliance aims to help domestic companies expand their overseas presence and seek revenues in foreign countries by setting up local teams.
Alibaba’s ecosystem provides one-stop cloud computing infrastructure services to Chinese firms which are eying growth overseas, Yu said.
