App may help tap US$12.5b market
INTSIG, which offers a business card management application, wants to develop 1 million new enterprise users for its CamCard Business in 2015 as it seeks to tap the US$12.5 billion mobile business market, the Shanghai-based startup said yesterday.
Debuting in 2009, the CamCard app, which supports 20 languages including Mandarin and English, allows users to store and manage business contacts easily by taking pictures of business cards with mobile phone cameras.
The newly released CamCard Business version integrates with companies’ ERP (enterprise resource planning), CRM (client relationship management) and other systems like Salesforce and Office365 to boost sales and improve work efficiency.
“CamCard Business is a natural choice for companies to embrace mobile,” said Michael Zhen, who founded Intsig in 2006.
By the end of 2015, Intsig aims to develop 300 million users globally. The firm now has 110 million users, with over 50 percent in overseas markets, said Zhen, who used to work in Motorola.
More than 1.3 billion users will work via mobile devices by 2015, according to research firms.
