China Mobile and Apple seal iPhone distribution pact, featuring on 4G

After lengthy negotiations, China Mobile has struck a multi-year deal to bring Apple’s iPhone to the world's largest mobile network from January 17, South China Morning Post reported.

The new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available for pre-registration on China Mobile’s website from Wednesday - Christmas Day - and featured on the operator’s nationwide campaign for its new “and!” brand for high-speed 4G services, the report said.

In a joint statement with Apple today, China Mobile chairman Xi Guohua said: “We know there are many China Mobile customers and potential new customers who are anxiously awaiting the incredible combination of iPhone on China Mobile’s leading network.”
