Computer services
KINGSOFT Corp has signed an agreement with Tencent Inc to provide free computer security and maintenance services on Tencent's microblog or Weibo platform, the first such service on Weibo in China, both firms said yesterday.
Under the deal, Kingsoft, a Beijing-based anti-virus firm, will arrange 100 engineers to answer computer-related questions and solve problems for netizens on Tencent's Weibo, which now has more than 100 million users.
The services include computer security, system operation and software problems, according to Kingsoft.
