Ericsson Inc said yesterday that it plans to invest more resources in its Shanghai research center, its largest after its headquarters center in Sweden.
The company said the investment would be in new technologies like 5G and cloud computing, though it did not elaborate. It said it has set a target to have 150 million 5G mobile subscribers around the world by 2021.
