Evernote takes note of China
EVERNOTE, one of the world's most popular online note-taking service providers, unveiled its Chinese name and said it would cooperate with two Chinese firm as it enters China, the world's No. 1 Internet market.
Evernote's Chinese name is Yinxiang Biji, referring to Impression Notes. Evernote lets people create, edit, delete and share notes and files among various devices from computers, tablets and smartphones.
Evernote also unveiled a cooperation deal with Tencent and UC Web in China, which have several hundred million users.
China has become the US-based start-up's third regional market behind the US and Japan and it will soon surpass Japan due to the huge Internet user base, Evernote officals yesterday said at a forum in Beijing.
