Execs get grants for contribution

SHANGHAI Zhangjiang High-Tech Park granted over 10 million yuan (US$1.6 million) to top executives in the park to encourage innovation and attract high-end talents.
Fifteen executives from pharmaceutical, software and semiconductor firms were yesterday awarded 500,000 yuan to 1 million yuan each, due to their contribution to companies or related industries.
They included Peng Bo from MicroPort, which provides heart disease patients low-cost medical equipment, and Shen Yu from Dazhihui, an online stock trading and information platform with 100 million Chinese users.
