Fair breaks record for countries attending

THE 16th China International Industry Fair will be the largest with a record-breaking number of more than 2,000 companies from 27 countries and regions showing off high-tech products in eight categories.
The fair will show high-tech products in the eight fields, including robots, sensor and motion control equipment, energy-saving solutions, environmental protection and industrial automation, said Tang Guifa, deputy director of the CIIF organizing committee.
The fair, to be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from November 4 through 8, will have 2,101 companies to participate, with 30 percent from overseas.
Held simultaneously with the fair is the Global CEO Conference, whose theme is Industry 4.0, which is expected to draw international experts.
A CIIF awards presentation ceremony will be held on November 6. By October 9, the Steering Committee of CIIF Awards Appraisal Work has received from 120 companies award applications for 204 exhibits, an increase of 11 percent from last year.
