Foxconn invests in Apple line

FOXCONN Technology Group will invest US$210 million to build an Apple production line in October in east China's Jiangsu Province.
The 40,000-square-meter plant housing the line, to be located in Huai'an City, will produce components for Apple Inc, the Taiwan affairs office of Huai'an said yesterday.
The plant's annual output may hit US$6 billion to US$7 billion yuan (US$949 million to US$ 1.1 billion), and the import and export value will be US$55.8 million, the office said.
