SNAIL Games said yesterday it will offer free game downloads and playing time in Shanghai.
The company has more than 3,000 games.
The convergence of telecommunications and games, one of the hot topics at ChinaJoy 2014, is expected to further boost the surging mobile game sector.
In 2013, mobile game revenue jumped 122 percent to 12.1 billion yuan (US$1.95 billion), compared with 40 percent growth in the entire game market, according to Analysys International, a Beijng-based research firm.
