Fujitsu aims to offer localized services
Fujitsu will offer localized services and products, covering mobile, cloud computing and big data technologies, in the Chinese market, Japan’s biggest information service provider said yesterday.
“It’s a new beginning for Fujitsu China with a new team and product and services (launched) uniquely for local firms in the country,” Michael Shih, chief executive of Fujitsu China, said at the two-day Fujitsu China Forum in Shanghai yesterday. The forum will close today.
The revenue of the IT service market for home-grown firms will expand 25 percent annually in the next several years in China, compared with no more than 10 percent for multinational corporations in the country, according to Shih.
China will continue to upgrade its economic structure into a more innovation-driven model, which boosts demand for IT services and has drawn multinational companies, including IBM, Oracle, SAP, and Fujitsu.
