NETEASE reported a 55 percent increase in second-quarter revenue to 1.3 billion yuan (US$199 million) with booming income from operating Activision Blizzard's World of Warcraft game.
China's leading Internet portal operator and online game provider yesterday said its profit for the quarter ended June 30 reached 486 million yuan, or 0.55 cents per share, a 3.8 percent increase from the same period last year.
Its revenues from online games jumped 54 percent to 1.2 billion yuan in the quarter.
