鈥楪reen鈥 online game

SHANGHAI-BASED Giant Interactive yesterday said it will launch a “green” online game by cooperating with charity bodies — the first in its kind nationwide.

In the new game XianTu 2 set to debut publicly in April, 10 percent of the game income will be donated to chosen NGOs. It’s China’s first “green game” encouraging players to cooperate and compete for a good purpose, instead of traditional online games filled with dark dungeons and bloody fighting, said game producer Qing Yu.
