IC-Key works to triple revenue to US$230m
IC-KEY Internet and Technology, a Shanghai-based online electronics component distributor, aims to triple its revenue to 1.5 billion yuan (US$230 million) this year and 10 billion yuan by 2018 despite a slow economic environment and drop in exports.
IC-Key, which is expected to be listed on the over-the-counter board in May, aims to boost cross-border e-commerce services and offer clients capital liquidity and overseas sales opportunities.
Electronic components are widely used in both consumer electronics and industrial sectors, which support smart manufacture and technology innovation in China.
The firm aims to adopt E-FIT strategy referring to electronics, finance, information and technology.
It is in talks with banks to offer credit to electronics clients battling lukewarm market demand, said John Su, vice president of IC-Key.
