Letv aims giant TV at wealthy

LETV, which has sold 4 million smart TVs since its debut in the TV business about a year ago, released a 120-inch smart TV priced at 499,900 yuan (US$78,730) and a new smartphone in Beijing yesterday.
The launch of the two devices is expected to help the company establish an ecosystem covering TV, smartphone, film production and new-energy car.
Letv launched the new 120-inch TV with high-definition display that the company said is aimed at the rich, and the new phone costing 1,099 yuan with fingerprint recognition feature.
Its eco-system also includes Yidao Yongche, a car-hailing application that Letv recently acquired.
