CHINA'S Internet industry income is estimated to rise an average of 25 percent annually over the next four years to more than 600 billion yuan (US$95.2 billion) in 2015, according to an industry outline released yesterday.
By 2015, transaction volume of domestic e-commerce companies is expected to reach 18 trillion yuan, more than tripling the 4.5 trillion yuan in 2010, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said in an Internet industry blueprint for the 12th Five-Year Plan.
In the previous five-year period, the number of net users tripled to 457 million and industry income climbed to more than 200 billion yuan by 2010.
