Phone trade-in offer
QIHOO 360, set to debut its own-brand Qiku smartphone next week, will offer consumers trade-in services on Samsung, Apple and domestic brands like Meizu, the New York-listed firm said yesterday.
Through the trade-in services, consumers can get discounts when they buy the new Qiku phone which will debut on Wednesday, after it invested US$400 million to establish a joint venture with Coolpad.
China’s biggest online security firm said its phone will not have built-in sponsored or useless applications which users can’t uninstall — common among Android models in China.
Qihoo 360 promoted the brand on the screens of Times Square in New York.
