Size no bar to innovation

MAJOR and small innovative high-tech companies will have equal opportunities to showcase their latest products and progress at the 3rd China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair, a senior Shanghai commerce official said yesterday.
“We find innovation an asset not only by big state-owned enterprises or foreign industrial giants, but small and private companies as well,” said Zhong Xiaomin, deputy director at the Shanghai Commission of Commerce.
Zhong said some small companies have stronger capabilities in innovation than their bigger counterparts.
The technology fair, considered as China’s biggest platform for trading technology, will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from April 23 to 25.
