WANG Jianzhou, China Mobile's chairman, will retire today and be replaced by Vice Chairman Xi Guohua, media reported yesterday.
Xi used to work in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Alacatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell.
China Mobile, the world's biggest telco with more than 500 million users, declined to comment yesterday.
