Tencent, Cisco tie up

TENCENT Holdings Inc, the country's largest instant messaging service provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cisco to increase its presence in the corporation communication market.
The two sides will develop communication products and software based on Cisco Unified Communications and provide communication related solutions for domestic companies.
Cisco will also offer its global market operation experience to Tencent, besides helping the Chinese firm to solve online storage problems for customers through a joint laboratory, a company statement said.
