CHINA'S medical equipment sector faces challenges including product innovation and quality improvement, said Ernst & Young.
Chinese medical equipment companies should be aware of regulations when expanding overseas, the firm said. Western medical equipment companies faced a slowdown in revenue growth last year. Revenue of United States and European listed healthcare technology firms inched up 0.3 percent last year, down from 2008's 11 percent growth, Ernst & Young said in a report yesterday.
