Midea raises stake

APPLIANCE giant Midea has secured more than 70 percent in German industrial robotics maker Kuka.
Midea’s latest offer has been accepted by holders of 56.7 percent of Kuka’s shares. Adding the 13.5 percent of shares Midea already owns gives it 70.2 percent of the issued share capital and existing voting rights of Kuka, Midea told the Shenzhen Stock Exchange yesterday.
