No jobs cut
SANY Heavy Industry Co yesterday said it will not lay off employees at Putzmeister Holding GmBH after protests broke out at the German concrete-pump maker against an acquisition.
Xiang Wenbo, president of Sany, said he is confident the deal will get regulatory approval and will be completed in the first quarter. Xiang said Sany will expand the production lines at Putzmeister to lift employment, adding the German company will bring it advanced technology and global sales network.
