Old-age fears
MORE than half of young couples in China are unhappy about old-age security and 70 percent are dissatisfied about public medical services, according to a survey by the American International Assurance Co.
The survey covered 3,078 newly weds and young parents aged between 22 and 40 in seven medium and big cities, including Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou. The gap between expectations and reality is widening for the younger generation due to changing definition of "success," it said.
