Robot sales slow in 2015

GLOBAL industrial robot sales growth slowed to 12 percent in 2015, less than half the 29 percent rise seen in 2014, data from the International Federation of Robotics showed yesterday.
Growth in robot sales in China slowed to 17 percent from 56 percent but the country still took up over a quarter of the 248,000 robots sold.
Foreign robot makers dominate the Chinese market but domestic makers have lifted their share to 31 percent from 25 percent in 2013.
