Siasun and Schneider eye smart factories

CHINESE robot maker Siasun and Schneider Electric signed a deal yesterday to build smart factories in China.

The two companies will provide solutions for emerging industries, and Schneider will use its global network to help Siasun expand overseas.

The two firms will set up a team to upgrade more than 100 enterprises in Liaoning Province, part of the old northeastern industrial base where Siasun is based, before expanding elsewhere in China.

Siasun has R&D platforms in robotics and knows the trend of China’s manufacturing sectors, while Schneider has management expertise and a global operation network, said Siasun President Qu Daokui.

Formed in 2000, Siasun is China’s leading robot maker whose products are exported to 13 countries and regions.
