Premium homes sold

NEARLY 100 new residential units costing more than 100,000 yuan (US$15,650) per square meter were sold in Shanghai in the first eight months of this year, with Sunville, a villa development near Sheshan Hill in Songjiang District, taking more than a third of the total.

Among the 99 premium homes sold, 36 were at Sunville, according to research released by real estate consultancy Tospur. Tomson Riviera, which sold six units during the period, remained the most costly apartment project at an average price of 154,296 yuan per square meter, Tospur said.
