SUN Hung Kai Properties, a Hong Kong-listed real estate developer specializing in premium residential and commercial projects, kicked off a 176,000 square meter development in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, over the weekend. Sun Hung Kai now has projects in 10 cities on the Chinese mainland.
Suzhou Industrial Park, located on the central business district's east bank of Jinji Lake and covering a land area of 22,000 square meters, will comprise a luxury shopping mall, Grade-A offices as well as high-end serviced apartments. Sun Hung Kai owns 90 percent of the project. The rest is held by the industrial park.
