UNITED States plane maker Boeing yesterday completed construction of a US$21 million facility in Tianjin to expand capacity of Boeing Tianjin Composite Co by 60 percent.
The new plant, which will be operational in 2013, will double the size of the facilities owned by the joint venture between Boeing and Aviation Industry Corp of China. The company produces components and parts for the Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787 aircraft.
