NETJETS Inc, the business-jet operator controlled by Warren Buffett, is to form a venture in China as rising wealth and trade spur demand for luxury flights.
The Berkshire Hathaway Inc unit's China operations will be part-owned by investors including Hony Capital and Fung Investments, a Businesswire statement said yesterday. It didn't say how many planes the Zhuhai-based venture will have or when flights will start.
China's growing economy is stoking flights by local and overseas customers, the company said.
