Eaton wins contracts

DIVERSIFIED industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp yesterday said it has won contracts from China Southern Airlines and Tibet Airlines to supply engine-driven pumps and AC motor pumps for their Airbus passenger fleets.
China Southern, the country's largest carrier by fleet size, selected Eaton to supply the products for its A320 passenger planes. Eaton is the sole supplier of these components on all of the airline's Airbus aircraft.
Meanwhile, Tibet Airlines selected Eaton to supply the components for its fleet of A319 passenger aircraft.
The airline will be the first carrier based in Tibet and is expected to launch operations later this year.
