CHINA Eastern Airline has signed a strategic agreement with China Development Bank to get financing of 50 billion yuan (US$7.6 billion) in the next five years.
China Eastern will use the funds to purchase and lease aircraft as well as build warehouses and other facilities during the 12th Five-Year Plan period from this year.
According to the deal, 20 billion yuan will be given in the form of medium-term notes, short-term bonds or corporate debts, with 30 billion yuan in loans.
