Flights back to normal
FLIGHTS between Shanghai and Beijing returned to normal yesterday after Beijing added a total of 211 domestic and international flights to transport passengers stranded on Saturday.
Most of the delayed flights between Shanghai and Beijing, one of the busiest routes in China, took off yesterday morning, a Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport official said.
A few flights were canceled so carriers could send extra planes to deal with the stranded passengers.
More than 15 flights between the two cities were canceled on Saturday.
