Jets for Tibet
TIBET Airlines yesterday signed a commitment with Airbus to acquire three A319 aircraft.
The Lhasa-based airline, which obtained the approval of the Civil Aviation Administration of China in March to begin operations, plans to expand its fleet size to 20 aircraft within five years.
The carrier plans to operate the A319s both on routes within the region and to major destinations across China.
