Marintec China 2013, Asia’s largest maritime trade fair, to be held in Shanghai later this year, is expected to provide some updates and insights into the industry, at a time when shipbuilders and shippers have been hit hard by a slowing economy. The event will be held on December 3-6 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center under the theme of “Green Technology, Transformation, Breakthrough.” Exhibition area will reach a record high of over 70,000 square meters and all booths have been sold out, organizers said yesterday.
