Program to exchange cabin crew
CHINA Eastern Airlines yesterday began a flight attendant exchange program with Taiwan-based China Airlines in a month-long project to improve services on their Shanghai-Taipei routes.
The two carriers will send one attendant on each other's flights daily to learn from each other regarding in-flight services.
"China Eastern and China Airlines operate the most daily flights across the Taiwan Strait, and the cooperation project is to enhance services for passengers," said Ma Xulun, general manager of the Shanghai-based carrier.
Ma also said China Eastern will decide which global airline alliance it will join around the Spring Festival.
