Spring-ing overseas

CHINESE budget airline, Spring Airlines, yesterday said it would focus on overseas expansion in the next two years.

The airline is "90 percent sure" to open a new route connecting Shanghai and Japan's Kagawa Prefecture in March, and more than 10 airports in Japan are now talking with the company, said Wang Zhenhua, the airline's top manager. Prices for the new route will start at 3,000 yen (US$37.50) for a single trip.
