‘VIP’ postal service

CHINA Post will launch a “new VIP” same-day delivery service in Shanghai from the new year.
Shanghai users will able to enjoy China Post’s new EMS intra-day delivery service starting from 15 yuan (US$2), which is cheaper than prices charged by other firms including SF Express.
Shanghai is the only major city nationwide to offer the services among China Post’s branches.
Within the Middle Ring region in Shanghai, users can receive products on the same day if they are delivered before 12pm. Shanghai Post will expand the service across the city within six months based on business volume and network coverage.
Each delivery service costs 15 yuan for items weighing no more than 1 kilogram and 2 yuan for each additional kilogram.
