World-class avionics

CHINA’S self-developed commercial aircraft will use a world-class avionics system, which combines the most advanced technologies and localized applications, a senior executive of Commercial Aircraft Corp of China said yesterday.
The avionic system includes communications, navigation, display and management of multiple platforms, and accounts for 40 percent of the total cost a commercial aircraft.
China has developed parts of applications for entertainment and communications on the aircraft, Shi Jianzhong, deputy general manager of the company, said during the Civil Avionics International Forum 2015, which opened yesterday in Shanghai.
