HANGZHOU stands fourth in credit index ranking among 36 major cities in China in 2016, according to the first Summit on Credit City Development in China held in Hangzhou on Tuesday. Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing are the top three cities in 2017.
For example, after diagnosing and treatment in local hospitals, local residents pay medical bills with their credit first, and pay the sum back later into their intelligent medical account by end of the year.
Currently the cap for their credit is set at 1,000 yuan. They can pay back at the hospital, ATM machines, by mobile phone via app or Alipay.
