592 polluters ousted

Zhejiang Province government shut down or relocated 592 enterprises that caused environmental pollution last year. More than 9,400 cases involving environmental protection regulations were investigated, and the fines amounted to 423 million yuan.
This year, the government will focus on improving the environment of rivers. Construction projects that don’t conform to environment protection rules for rivers will be banned.
