Added value up

IN the first half of this year, industrial added value of large-scale corporations in Hangzhou reached 113.45 billion yuan (US$17.8 billion), up 8.3 percent from the same period of last year.

However, the growth rate is 1.1 percentage points lower than the year-on-year rise in the first quarter of the year.

Large-scale corporations include all state-owned companies and private companies with annual revenue of 5 million yuan or above.

In Zhejiang Province, the industrial added value of large-scale corporations reached 507.3 billion yuan.

According to Zhejiang Statistics Bureau, the province's economy is to rise in the second half of the year due to the national and provincial policies of accelerating investment and helping enterprises.
