Airport sets record

More than 2.85 million international air travelers used the city’s Xiaoshan International Airport last year, a year-on-year increase of 14 percent, Hangzhou Frontier Inspection Station said.
Alsancak Ozge from Turkey became the 2.85 millionth passenger to traverse the city, which set a record for passenger volume.
The airport, the busiest in Zhejiang Province, is handling 43 international routes, with 360 inbound and outbound flights per week.
