Airport transport

TRAVELERS taking flights from Xiaoshan International Airport are reminded arrive at least 40 minutes before take-off because the Airport Highway has been closed for renovations.

The airport has opened a parking lot by the east entrance, and shuttle buses are available to take passengers to the terminal. Buses depart every 15 minutes from 5am to midnight and every 30 minutes from midnight to 5am. Each trip takes about 5 minutes.

The parking lot can hold 150 cars. Parking costs 5 yuan (82 US cents) per hour or 100 yuan per day.

After completing the security check, passengers who have difficulty walking can ride an electric cart to their boarding gate.

Starting in June, travelers can also check in for their flights at Hangzhou East Railway Station and take a bus directly to the airport.

Since the Airport Highway was closed, the fastest route going to the airport is the Desheng Overpass and Qianjiang No. 2 Bridge. The 25-kilometer route has no traffic lights. However, there is a 15 yuan.
