HANGZHOU plans to build the China Animation Museum in three years, according to the Hangzhou Urban Planning Bureau.

The museum will be by Baima Lake in Binjiang District. The building, resembling a white cloud, will have a total space of 30,000 square meters for exhibitions, storage, education and research.

Visitors will be able to take part in interactive exhibits, watch cartoon movies and dine in an animation-themed restaurant.

Construction of the museum is expected to start later this year.
