Big renovation plans

Xihu Avenue and the public square at Hangzhou Railway Station will be renovated, officials said.
The renovation of Xihu Avenue will be completed by April 2016.
Renovating Hangzhou Railway Station involves replacing ventilation and air-conditioning units in the 15,000-square-meter underground space and adding greenery around the square. The renovation project will cost 20 million yuan and finish before Chinese New Year.
Shangcheng District is carrying out 70 beautification projects, including the renovation of six main roads. The projects will be completed before next February.
