BINJIANG District has chosen locations for 48 new public bike stations, with a capacity for 1,200 bicycles.
Bidding for the 1.95 million yuan contract to build the stations is now under way.
All the stations are scheduled for completion by the end of the year.
The new stations will bring the number of facilities participating in the free bicycle program to 200.
