Campus building go-ahead

Liangzhu campus of China Academy of Art has got the go-ahead from Zhejiang Province government for construction following an agreement signed with Yuhang District in July.
The campus, which will sit beside the Liangzhu Station of Metro Line 2, will hold 4,000 students.
It will consist of schools for innovative design, research and continuous education and bases for high-level talent cultivation, experimental practice and innovation incubation. A platform will also be established for academic development and international communication.
Construction starts this year and will receive its first students in 2020.
