Car plate price rise

THE average price for this month’s car plate auction was 48,352 yuan (US$7,111), setting a historical high.
The lowest price was 47,100 yuan, up 4,100 yuan from last month.
Sixty-seven bidders got the plate at the lowest price. It was the ninth month that the prices rose since September last year. In October 2014, the average price for car plate was 47,785 yuan.
The average price for institutional bidders was 48,962 yuan, and the lowest price was 46,000 yuan. Both of them are at a historical high, rising 3,597 yuan and 3,000 yuan, respectively, from the previous records.
